In the early 2000’s, Ja rule and Ashanti were most certainly a dynamic duo. The two crushed the music charts with pretty much every record they dropped and had fans singing their songs lyric after lyric.
After hitting the stage together a few times this year and taking a few notes from The Carters, Ja and Ashanti have decided, its time to make magic once more. In the beginning it was simply an idea, but after some thought they decided to turn the idea into reality.

While there aren’t any official details about when the album will drop, Ja and Ashanti gave their fans a sneak peek of what’s to come. Take a listen to the full version of “Encore” below.
