People tend to cringe when they hear the term “basic” and let’s keep it real, no one wants to be labeled a basic b-tch. But, MAC’s new palette is flipping the term for the better.
It’s for all the girls who like to slay their makeup using subtle and somewhat neutral shades. The new palette includes both light and dark shimmer shades, several mattes and of course a Highlighter! So in short, it’s like the perfect combo to get a simple basic beat.
Last month at Milan Fashion Week senior makeup artist Netta Szekely showcased the new palette backstage and even posted previews to her Instagram. Some loved the idea of the new palette, others NOT so much.
While there’s no official word on the launch date. I’ll be sure to post one as soon as a date becomes confirmed.
