Check out SOme of These 2023 Amazing Met Gala Looks
By now we all know the first Monday of May is dedicated to the #MetGala and if you are anything like us the anticipation to see your favorite celebs dressed up is exciting. This year’s theme honored the ultra-creative and legendary Karl Lagerfeld. The full theme title was Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty. Check out some of the stars who showed up and showed out, all while embodying the night’s theme.
Stunning in designer Thom Browne actress, and entertainer Teyana Taylor gave us a fierce LEWK only she could pull off. Can you picture this glam and look on anyone else?
Cardi B’s Cheng Peng Studio gown and gray hair screamed Karl Lagerfeld. Something tells us her slick gray hairdo is an ode to Karl’s signature gray tresses and we’re all the way here for it.
DojaCat’s look fit her name and this year’s theme very well. She wore an OscarDeLaRenta look and we’re not even going to get started on the glam. Most people would have shown up with a dramatic cat eye… Doja however, gave us an entire Cat LOOK inspired by the famous Choupette. also known as Karl Lagerfeld’s cat.
#KekePalmer looked incredibly fab in her Sergio Hudson look. The soft pastel colors on her gown were a beautiful play on Chanel’s tweed fabrics. Simple and Classy.
Leave it up to Mr. Jared Leto to stay on theme and think outside the box. Leto’s known for coming through with a somewhat outrageous look. This year he too dressed up as the one and only Choupette.
Keeping us all on the tip of our toes MamaRih showed up wearing a Valentino ensemble resembling the signature Chanel camellia flower (we also love her white fingerless gloves a Lagerfeld staple) and of course the eyewear and glam stunned. A$AP Rocky also gave us a recreated Karl look while wearing #Gucci. He definitely did that!
Looking straight off the runway and dipped in gold Anokyai stunned in Prabal Gurung. Please take a moment to stop and stare in awe.
Keeping it classy Dua Lipa gave us a straightforward but vintage Chanel tweed look. She looks just as good as the original runway model Claudia Schiffer, who wore this dress originally in the 1995-1996 Chanel Runway Show.
Jeremy Pope showed up and showed out in custom Balmain looking paying tribute to the late Karl Lagerfeld in an extravagant way.
