Introducing “Snoop Cali Red”
Love red wine? Well, you’ll have another bottle to test out this summer. Our favorite uncle, uncle Snoop recently partnered with the Australian wine brand 19 Crimes to bring wine lovers Snoop Cali Red. The red wine is the company’s first California wine. Being that Snoop is from Cali and has a background that goes well with the brand’s voice it makes perfect sense why John Wardley, TWE’s marketing vice president, (Americas) and the rest of the brand chose him.
The brand 19 Crimes pays tribute to the convicts turned colonists that helped build Australia during the 18th century. While Snoop wasn’t apart this, the company felt that his past makes him just as special as those who were… stating, “Snoop embodies the spirit of 19 Crimes—rule-breaking, culture creating and overcoming adversity. We are truly excited to partner with Snoop and welcome him to the 19 Crimes family.”
In a press release, Snoop also shared his excitement saying, “I’ve been a fan of this wine, and I’m excited to unveil my Snoop Cali Red this summer and share the experience with all my fans. It’s one of the most successful brands in the market, so I’m more than eager to bring this collaboration to the world!”
Those looking forward to Cali Red should expect a red blend of 65-percent Petite Syrah, 30- percent Zinfandel, and 5-percent Merlot. The estimated cost is around $12 a bottle. So with that being said be on the lookout, Snoop Cali Red is set to hit shelves in the US this summer!
