This week’s Entertainment Weekly cover goes to no one other than Ms. Taraji P. Henson, also known as Mrs. Cookie Lyon. In her interview with the magazine she talks about her successful role on the hit show Empire and a bit of what’s to come this upcoming season.
When asked about the popularity of her character Cookie, Henson stated, “I get it. She’s my alter ego”. In addition, Henson also talks about all the different projects she has coming her way.
These projects include a Memoir set to hit stands this October, a collaboration with M•A•C the very popular make-up brand, hitting stores all over September 8, a starring role in the film Hidden Figures hitting screens this winter and finally she is gearing up for EMPIRE Season 3.
If you ask me, that’s a lot for one woman to handle, but knowing Cookie we’re all sure she’s got everything covered.
